The motion analysis laboratory at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is currently seeking a qualified individual for full-time employment to support both clinical and research aims of the lab. Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to patient/parent interaction, equipment calibration/troubleshooting/repair, data collection and processing, report interpretation, and report generation. Research responsibilities may range from assisting in current research efforts, to participating in independent areas of research that support the MAL. This individual must possess a team oriented philosophy with a problem solving approach, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to interact with children.
Desired Qualifications: Bioengineer, Kinesiologist or Movement Science Major Minimal level BS Degree, MS degree preferred. Strong candidates will have prior experience in research studies involving human subjects. Additional desirable skills include: experience with motion analysis, EMG, programming experience (Matlab or Labview a plus), and knowledge of statistical data analysis.
