The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami is recruiting a research associate to explore research questions that relate to skeletal muscle weakness, fatigue and activity after human spinal cord injury. Motivated scientists interested in the areas of neuromuscular physiology, engineering, computer programming and/or physical therapy are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with a undergraduate or graduate degree in physiology, engineering, computer science or physical therapy are encouraged to apply. Requirements include strong experimental skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants with strong publications and prior research experience in neuromuscular physiology are highly desirable. Qualified candidates should send a curriculum vitae with publication record as well as the names and contact information of three references to:
