The Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society invites you to participate in the 2012 GCMAS Conference, to be held May 9-12 at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids, MI, USA and hosted locally by the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

This announcement is the FIRST CALL FOR ABSTRACTS. Abstracts in all areas of clinical movement analysis are welcome, and will be selected for podium and poster presentations via a competitive, peer-review process.

The 2012 Program Committee particularly encourages submissions related to the following topics:
• Assessment and treatment of movement disorders caused by disease or injury.
• Model-based evaluation and treatment planning.
• Advances in gait rehabilitation.
• Functions of muscles and joints.
• Clinical case studies.
• New tools and technologies for measurement and/or analysis.

Abstracts must be received by OCTOBER 14, 2011.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by mid-December.
