About ecramp48
Real Name:
Edmund Cramp
I moved to the USA from the UK in 1977 to work for Oxford Medilog, supporting their Medilog Holter monitors, where I designed and built one of the first multi-channel 24hr EKG simulators. Later I worked on a SIDS monitoring system after the company moved to Clearwater, FL. I was the first employee of Oxford Medical Computers (Vicon) in the USA with the introduction of the Vicon 3D system into the US in 1981. I installed 3D Vicon systems and set up more than 60 gait and biomechanics labs for Vicon until the mid 90's when they moved to California. I formed Motion Lab Systems in 1987 to design and build multichannel EMG systems specifically for gait analysis. The introduction of the MA-100 EMG system bought technical innovation to the world of gait EMG with smaller, lighter, and reliable EMG systems that bought performance, quality and ease of use to Biomechanics, Motion and Gait Laboratories.
Baton Rouge, LA USA
Just about everything!
I work for, and part own, Motion Lab Systems, Inc.
