Job Posting - Sports Medicine
The Department of Kinesiology and Health in the College of Education at Georgia State University is seeking a permanent full-time clinical assistant/associate professor in sports medicine.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include serving as the program coordinator of the M.S. program in Sports Medicine, teaching graduate courses in Sports Medicine, supervision of graduate student research, supervision of graduate athletic trainers in a variety of clinical settings, student advisement, and serving on departmental, college and university committees.
Qualifications: Qualifications include an earned doctorate in Sports Medicine, Kinesiology or related field. Must have 5 years of experience as an NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and be eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia; experience in and commitment to working with diverse students in urban settings; and strength as a researcher as well as a scholar/teacher.
