Is there a need to normalize joint torque (during gait) for body height ?

There are agreements which feel there is a need to normalise body mass when studying joint torque during gait. A simple but not well-conceived question: Is there a need to include height normalisation too? Is so, what should be an appropriate and acceptable method? If not, why should body height be not normalised?
