Workshop - Foot biomechanics: from model to practice
Clinical and sports engineering biomechanics: different priorities, but common needs in terms of measurement and modeling
4 May 2017, Luxembourg
Free to attend
Join us Thursday May 4th 2017 for the Foot biomechanics Workshop to be held on Rehazenter, Luxembourg.
A day to communicate and exchange views between scientists, clinicians and engineers, focusing on detailed capture of foot movements, barefoot and shod, from a clinical (pathological walking gait to running trauma) to an industrial (prosthetics to sport shoes) perspective.
Join us to get trained and share your expertise with users from various horizons, looking at different multisegment visions of the foot, from motion capture techniques to models, thanks to excellent keynotes in the field (see program).
We recommend arriving the day before to enjoy an informal social gathering with a nice meetup in the evening before our full session day.
The workshop is free to attend but places are limited. Registration is mandatory:https://goo.gl/vAE6Ov
