We are looking for a research assistant to work on a 3 year NIH funded
project at a biomechanics lab housed at Long Island University / Brooklyn.

optimal candidate:
electrical or mechanical engineering bachelors degree
biomechanics laboratory experience
good computer skills including familiarity with SPSS, Excel, LabView,
interest in dance movement
flexible hours

Preferred biomechanics laboratory experience includes:
3-D kinematics, telemetric sEMG, and strain gauge force platform, LabVIEW
and MatLab programming

job responsibilities include assisting in:
data collection
data analysis
computer programming
equipment development and maintenance
subject recruitment and screening
