WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY - The Department of Kinesiology and Physical
Education invites applications for a tenure track position at the
assistant or associate professor level commencing July 1, 2001.
Applicants should have expertise and be able to teach undergraduate
courses in biomechanics, in combination with one of sports medicine,
ergonomics or motor control. The ability to teach skills practica would
be an asset. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be
expected to carry on an independent research program. Candidates are
expected to have completed or be nearing completion of a PhD and to
possess relevant teaching and research experience.
Letters of application, including a description of research and
teaching interests and a teaching dossier should be accompanied by a
curriculum vitae. The applicant should arrange to have all materials,
including three letters of reference, forwarded to Dr. William McTeer,
Chair, Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Wilfrid Laurier
University, 75 University Avenue W. Waterloo, Ontario N2L 3C5. All
materials must be received by January 15, 2001. Wilfrid Laurier
