I need some help from the international biomechanics community. I have 3
students from Russia who took biomechanics before coming to the U.S. They
are wanting the Russian course to count for our Senior level course at the
University of Texas at El Paso. Based on a previous experience with a
Russian transfer student who took my class, they probably already have the
competencies I expect. However, due to some language barriers, I am unable
to assess whether to give them credit. Based on the following information
they provided me, can someone please advise? My course, by the way is an
introductory course, even though at the senior level. We do not require
physics or trig as a prerequisite.

The book was called "Biomechanics"
Authors: Donskoy D.D., Zatsiorskiy V.M.
The book is aprooved be the Ministry for the Sports and physical culture of
the Soviet Union.
Publisher: Moscow, Physical culture and sports, 1979

My instructers was Petrenko E.T., PhD, coordinator of the program was
Bugebaeva S.Zh, PhD.

Thanks!
