B.S. or M.S. in Engineering Mechanics or BioMedical Engineering

Job Description:
* Full time research position in basic and applied Orthopaedic Research
* Experimental, analytical, and computational musculoskeletal biomechanics
* Active collaboration with basic science and clinical faculty under
supervision of director

General Research Areas:

* Mechanical evaluation of surgical constructs & orthopaedic devices
* Computational bone morphometric imaging & measurement
* Mechanical factors in bone metabolism
* Micromechanical etiology of cartilage degeneration
* Animal models of bone and cartilage disease
* Nano-scale mechanical testing of connective tissues
* Finite element analysis
