Position: Assistant/Associate Professor, Tenure Track: Motor Control in
Neurological Disorders

Northwestern University Medical School's Department of Physical Therapy and
Human Movement Sciences seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor
for study of the mechanisms of motor dysfunction accompanying neurological
disorders. The position will be offered in the tenure track. Salary is
negotiable.

Applicants likely will have a clinical degree, preferably in Physical
Therapy, and hold an earned doctorate in Neuroscience, Neurophysiology,
Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline. Postdoctoral training is
strongly preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a successful record of
research, such as extramural grant acquisition and publication in high
quality peer-reviewed journals. Prior experience with research involving
human subjects and in persons with neurological involvement affecting
movement function is required. The faculty member will be expected to
establish a high quality research program and to contribute to the teaching
of students, and to provide service in the Medical School and to the
University.
