The Midwest Graduate Student Biomechanics Symposium is an annual event
that allows students to present their planned and completed research
project efforts related to Biomechanics. The event is friendly,
relatively informal, and supportive making an excellent forum for
beginning researchers to present their work for peer review and
evaluation. The presentation format is the standard oral version with
the time allotment somewhat determined by the overall size of the
program (between 15 and 25 minutes generally).

This year will be the 16th edition of the event and will be hosted on
March 23 & 24, 2001 by the Department of Human Kinetics at the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

For those who wish to contribute to the program, please provide me the
following information via email by March 9, 2001.

NATURE OF PROJECT (planned, completed, etc.)-

If you would simply like to attend, please provide me the number in
your parties by March 9, 2001 (for refreshment planning!).

We also would like to assemble a compilation of the presentation
abstracts. So that the information contained therein is as rich as
possible, the deadline for receipt of abstracts will be March 16, 2001.
Abstracts should be limited to a single 8.5 x 11.0 inch page, 1 inch
margins all around, and 12 point font. More specific abstract content
formatting information will follow.

This gathering has always been a lot of fun with a lot of good
information exchanged. Hope you can attend.
