View Full Version : question to cervical spine injury

Hello, when I work on a homework under the theme "Biomechanics of cervical spine: example of an injury", the following questions arouse:

Which power or acceleration must impinge on a head to injure a healthy, not degenerated disc C6/C7?

Is it possible to cause a disc prolaps C6/C7 for a man of eighty kilograms, who was about to lose his balance and tried to find a hold again, catching forcible the head of a woman of fifty-two kilograms?

Are there any further articles about this topic?

I would be very grateful to you for a quick response. Many thanks in advance,

Sincerely yours

Jeannette Dorien
