View Full Version : Impedance of a "walker"

Hello,

I work at the Institute for Technical Acoustics in Aachen, Germany. I
joined the mailing-list, because I need information of the mechanical
impedance of a walking person. The goal is to auralise the noise of
someone walking or jumping or whatever on the ceiling above.
The ceiling is excited by a point force source with a certain
impedance.

Are there any good publications about measurements or a theoretical
model for this ? I think it is needed e.g. for the impact of
vibrations to the human body or something similar.

Thanks in advance,

Rainer mailto:RThaden@web.de
