A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Human Spatial
Orientation Laboratory, at the Neurological Sciences Institute of Oregon
Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

The postdoctoral fellow will engage in research exploring the role of
sensorimotor integration in human postural control and the vestibulo-ocular
reflex, using a model-based approach to understand and interpret
experimental results obtained from a custom posture platform, linear sled,
and multi-axis rotation device. Our laboratory is also developing a new
clinical test to identify unilateral vestibular dysfunction using a novel
rotational stimulus. This position offers many opportunities to learn and
apply multidisciplinary skills and to benefit from a diverse staff with
interests in all levels of neuroscience.

Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. with a background in vestibular
physiology, motor control, engineering, or biomechanics. Experience with
control systems, modeling and simulation, signal processing, and laboratory
methods associated with human subject testing is desirable.

Oregon Health Sciences University offers competitive salary and benefits.
