Dear all nit-pickers,

Before you quibble anymore, I do think the common understanding of
crying is that the tears run down the cheek - otherwise it's merely a
welling-up. See, by way of confirmation, the sign for crying in American
Sign Language:

Gerry Gottlieb claims he can weight-lift and cry simultaneously whilst
accelerating. I contend that the space ship would have to be unfeasibly
large for this - though it could quite possibly happen if he were
jettisoned suddenly by a popular vote amongst the crew...
