NON-Tenure Track, 2-year FACULTY POSITION - BIOMECHANICS - UNIVERSITY OF
TEXAS AT AUSTIN: The Department of Kinesiology and Health Education
invites applications for a temporary appointment in biomechanics. This
non-tenure-track appointment is available in August 2001. Candidates will
have the option for a one- or two-year appointment.

Qualifications: We are seeking applicants with a Ph.D. or equivalent
degree in biomechanics, or related field.

Responsibilities: Required teaching undergraduate Biomechanics, graduate
level Biomechanics of Sport, and a graduate level Biomechanics of Human
Movement. The faculty member in this line will also assist in teaching a
graduate level course in Biomechanics Laboratory Techniques -
Electromyography. The average teaching load is two courses per semester
with the possibility of one course during the summer. Advising: the
option is available to supervise masters students in research and
internships.

The University of Texas has an active research faculty and state-of-the-art
laboratory facilities. These facilities will be available to the
successful candidate to support the continuation of his or her research
program.
