MUNCIE, INDIANA

The School of Physical Education invites applications for an
assistant/associate professor tenure-track position in
biomechanics available January 1, 2002. Responsibilities include: teaching
undergraduate biomechanics classes; advising graduate research projects and
theses; developing a line of research in biomechanics; professional service.
Possibility of summer employment. Minimum qualifications: doctorate
completed by January 31, 2003; evidence of higher education teaching
experience and research experience as demonstrated by refereed presentations
and/or publications. Preferred qualifications: doctorate in biomechanics or
closely related field; background in clinical biomechanics and/or
biomechanics of resistance training; evidence of scholarly productivity
through successful grantsmanship in area of expertise.
