Dear BIOMECH-L readers,

I am a student studying mechanical engineering and currently researching
comfortbility of automobile seats. I am looking for video based motion
analysis systems, with video editing capabilities.

3 cameras, positioned in the cockpit of the car, will record the driverīs
movement during driving. As it is planned to record 40 subjects, the filmed
data will be too big, to analyse the movements afterwards.
MY AIM IS TO FILTER OUT ALL THE SEQUENCES WITH NO MOVEMENT AND MOVEMENT
BECAUSE OF DRIVING(e.g. stiring, braking, accelarating...) !
With our recources, it is too tedious to edit the filmed data manually!
Do You have a less tedious way of filtering between
a) in general movement and no movement
b) driving related movement and non-driving related movement

I would be very grateful of any suggestions or comments regarding above.I am
open for a totally different solution or a different approach, how to
realize the selection of movement data.

Thank You very much for your time and consideration in advance

Yasin
