DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN BIOLOGY AND NUTRITIONAL SCIENCES


The Department of Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences at the University
of Guelph invites applications for a tenure-track position at the
Assistant Professor level in the area of Biodynamics. Applicants should
have a PhD or equivalent with postdoctoral experience in Biomechanics,
Physiology or a related field. The successful candidate's
responsibilities will include effective undergraduate teaching in Anatomy
as well as development of courses in Biomechanics, advising on
undergraduate projects and graduate theses, and the development of an
externally funded research program. Clinical research experience would be
beneficial. The Department of Human Biology and Nutritional Science
offers undergraduate BSc programs in Bio-Medical Science, Human Kinetics,
and Nutritional Sciences that have a total enrolment of 600 students. The
Department presently offers MSc. and PhD. degrees and is firmly committed
to graduate education.
