Title - Post-Doctoral Position in Motor Unit Control
Location - Boston University
NeuroMuscular Research Center
Date - 19 December 2001


Two Post-Doctoral research positions are available immediately to work with
Dr. Carlo De Luca at the NeuroMuscular Research Center at Boston University.
We are seeking one or more candidates to work on leading-edge problems in
the field of motor unit control. Candidates having training and interest in
one of the two following areas will be considered: 1) signal processing and
mathematical modeling with a demonstrated interest in neurophysiology, and
2) neurophysiology, especially at the muscle control level, with a
demonstrated interest in quantitative methodologies.
The successful candidate(s) will participate in the NIH funded Biomedical
Research Partnership program comprising of five groups working on motor unit
related problems ranging from modeling to clinical applications. Funding
will be competitive for the Boston area. There is a potential for continued
employment beyond the Post-Doc for a successful candidate
