Dear Biomch-L subscribers,

Further to Gordon Clapworthy's posting today, I would like to
suggest the following:

Responses to Dr. Duda's posting should be posted with a new subject
line, I suggest "Subject: The future of biomechanics". Dr. Duda's
posting was excellent but it took the discussion away from the
original questions posed by Dr. Hatze.

Postings related to Dr. Hatze's discussion should be posted with
"Subject: BioNet: Problems in myoskeletal inverse dynamics". This will help
maintain focus. The original subject line was too long and looked
too general (it contained "topic 2" at the end, but this was not
visible in my mail reader).

Foremost, we should avoid people on Biomch-L arguing about what a
discussion should really be about. That is certainly not productive.
Instead, both discussions can peacefully co-exist. This does not
mean that connections between topics should be ignored. It just
means that the topics have a different focus.
