Description:
A full-time research associate position is available immediately
in the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory of the
Department of Orthopedic Surgery
at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, IL
to participate in Spine Biomechanics Research Projects for up to five years.
On-going projects focus on the spinal segmental instability in association
with disc degeneration and its treatment.
A successful candidate should participate in an in-vivo human study
of spinal instability but will also have opportunities to develop
or to work for other spine related research projects.


Qualifications:
Completed Ph.D. or equivalent degrees in Bioengineering or other related
fields.
Candidates with strong background in spine biomechanics and
experience in CT and MR image analysis will be preferred.
