View Full Version : Academic dishonesty correlates with high academic achievement

Dear Members,
The Economist, March 16, 2002 ran an article. "Plagiarise. Let no one
else's work evade your eyes" p 81 which highlights the growing market for
sofware to identify this form of cheating. However, it points out that our
most top notch institutions such as Princeton, Yale and Standford do not
use the available software but Duke, Rutgers and Cornell do. "Past
research has shown that, perhaps surprisingly, academic dishonesty
correlates with high academic achievement."
Just more thought to ponder.
