Myotonometer- A Muscle Tone Measuring Device

Neurogenic Technologies Inc. is the exclusive distributor for The
Myotonometer, a patented, hand-held, computerized device that provides
quantitative measurements of muscle tone, stiffness, strength, and
spasticity. The Myotonometer(R) can assess any surface muscle in the
body (postural or extremity) within minutes. Its ease of use and
ability to quickly quantify muscle characteristics are some of its main
features. It is meant to replace more subjective clinical measures or
complicated, time-consuming laboratory procedures. The device is
non-invasive, painless and provides valid and reliable results. The
Myotonometer can be used to quantify muscle property changes associated
with progressive disorders, neurologic injury, fitness programs, sport
injury/screening, orthopedic conditions, industrial medicine cases and
therapeutic intervention effectiveness.

The BYP lists companies that offer biomechanics-related products and
services. As you know, these companies may not post commercial
announcements directly to Biomch-L. However, new BYP listings and
updates (no more than once per year) are posted to Biomch-L by the
maintainer of the BYP or the Biomch-L moderator.

The yellow pages and information on how to submit can be found at
http://www.isbweb.org/~byp/.

If you do not wish to view these notices, simply delete them, or set up
your e-mail to filter these messages into a folder or automatically
deleted. The subjects all begin with "Biomech YP Update-".
