Dear Colleagues:

I am trying to setup a JVC GRDVL100 using a IEEE 1394 PCMCIA Bus Card (Texas Instruments). I am struggling to find a proper driver for my opperational system (Windows ME), since the drivers provided are designed for Win 98. I can not record the image properly (using any popular software, such as ADOBE PREMIERE) on to my hard disk. I can see the images perfectly well on my screen, however, when I try to collect data, the images present a mosaic effect (noise) and the AVI files can not be used for further analysis. I have already sent a message to Texas Instruments, but one of those automatic messages is the only answer I got (as usual). At the moment I would discard problems related to my PC (Pentium III 1 GHz, with plenty HD space and 128 Mb RAM) or problems related to the PCMCIA (because I can see the images on my screen).
Has someone experienced, similar problems? Any suggestions about how do I sort this out? Any clue is welcome.

Kind regards
