Faculty Positions
Program in Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Program invites applicants for two full-time
12-month
positions. The successful candidates must have a doctoral degree or must
be
in receipt of the degree at the time of hire, should demonstrate
scholarship
to contribute to the program's research initiatives and pursue
external grant funding, and should have teaching expertise in one or
more of
the following areas: musculoskeletal physical therapy, anatomy, applied
physiology, pharmacology, biomechanics, exercise physiology or
cardiopulmonary physical therapy. The Program has a nationally
recognized
and diverse faculty offering the entry-level MSPT degree. The approval
process
to convert to the DPT and t-DPT effective fall semester 2003 has
commenced.

Columbia University is a research-one institution with a strong academic
and
clinical environment. Academic rank and a competitive salary are
commensurate
with experience. One position is available as early as January 2003,
the second
