View Full Version : shareware for Labview or Terminal for Polhemus

As the result of a hardware failure I trying to move a student research project I am supervising from our computerized video analysis system to a Polhemus system because the students are set to start data collection and fixing our video system (if possbile) will likely takes several weeks at best. A colleague has offered use of his Polhemus which he uses to analyze shoulder motion. We want to analyze simple open-chain knee motion. We can collect data using the Terminal program that comes with the system. However I was wondering if anyone already has a subroutine to determine the relative angular displacements of the though and shank using two sensors (one on the thigh and one on the shank). We can use the Terminal program and we also have access to Labview. If anyone has a subroutine to do this and is willing to share or is aware of any shareware available I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
