View Full Version : subject tracking for video analysis

I am currently exploring the possibilities of incorporating a
patient tracking system in our lab that will allow a video camera mounted on
a track to "follow" a patient linearly providing a sagittal view of the
patient so that the center of the camera view is always fixed on the
patient. The challenge lies in designing some type of network of sensors or
using image analysis to identify the position of the patient that would be
processed on a PC or other control unit to drive the motor/cable system
attached to the track.

Has anyone implemented a similar system in their lab, or have any
ideas? Thanks for any advice.
