The Athletic Training Department at Indiana State University seeks a
qualified person to serve as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor.
This
is a 10-month tenure-track position with summer teaching possible.
Responsibilities include teaching athletic training classes,
supervising
graduate and undergraduate research, advising students, and conducting
research. The Athletic Training Department contains: a
CAAHEP-accredited
entry-level program, an NATA-GRC accredited Master's program, a PhD
specialization in Sports Medicine, and provides healthcare to
student-athletes through Athletic Training Services. Individuals
meeting
the criteria at any rank by the date of opening are encouraged to
apply.
Full Professor: An earned Doctorate, current NATA-BOC certification,
earned tenure at a comparable institution, evidence of effective
teaching, a sustained line of research that has been independently
funded which has lead to an extensive publication record, and
significant service to the academy and profession are required.
Associate Professor: An earned Doctorate, current NATA-BOC
certification, significant progress in a tenure track position,
evidence
of effective teaching, an established research agenda with a
publication
record, and service to the academy and profession are required.
Assistant Professor: An earned Doctorate, current NATA-BOC
certification, teaching experience, and a line of research that has
the
potential to yield a publication record are required. Salary is
competitive and commensurate with rank and experience. The complete
