Dear all,

I am going to conduct a research on the upper limb control of normal children and children with cerebral palsy. I would like to investigate the intersegmental torque dynamics of the upper limb movement as well as its change with practicing a task of throwing a ball into a target (they only require to focus on the accuracy, not speed) . I have a Vicon system in my lab with cameras which can only collect samples at a rate of 60hz. Now my worry is whether 60hz is too low to film the movement accurately. I am aware that many studies investigating upper limb movement used at least 100hz sampling rate.

I appreciate any comments on my concerns and will post up a summary of replies.
Thanks
Louisa Law
