KESSLER MEDICAL REHABILITATION RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CORPORATION
located in WEST ORANGE, NJ currently has the following positions
available in support of its new Rehabilitation Engineering Department.

RESEARCH SCIENTIST INSTRUMENTATION

Seeking an experience individual with expertise in the application of
control system dynamics techniques to serve as co-investigator on a
variety of projects. Position involves providing leadership to the
bioinstrumentation technical staff; pursuing new technologies as related
to ongoing Rehabilitation Engineering Analysis Laboratory (REAL)
studies; developing areas for research funding and grant proposal
writing; and producing of quality publications and presentation.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Bioinstrumentation and Control
Engineering or related field and a minimum of 2 years research
experience in Bioengineering.

BIOINSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Individual will be responsible for: assisting staff with data processing
software applications; writing computer programs in C, C++, LabView and
Java; participating in data collection and analysis; troubleshooting
research electronics and biomechanical instrumentation problems; and
developing presentations of lab activities for publication and for
visiting groups. To qualify, you must have a BS in Electrical,
Aerospace or Bioinstrumentation Engineering or Computer Science plus
expertise in C, C++, and Java. Experience in electronics,
instrumentation, and computer programming in support of REAL
operations/projects; familiarity with LabView and experience in control
system modeling are desirable.

BIOMECHANICAL ENGINEER

Individual will be responsible for: participating in data collection;
assisting with protocol development for research studies; and assisting
with the preparation of manuscripts and proposals. To qualify, you must
have a BS Degree in Biomechanics, Biomaterials, Mechanical or Aerospace
Engineering. Qualified candidate should be trained in mechanical,
aerospace or materials engineering and have a background focused on
mechanics, materials and experimental techniques or modeling.
Experience in structural modeling or material testing is desirable as is
a background in biomechanics or human movement analysis.
