Assistant Professor, Department of Exercise Science, The University of Iowa:

Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position commencing in
August 2003. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a strong
potential to attract external funding. Postdoctoral training and teaching
experience are highly desirable. Outstanding candidates are sought who can
develop a strong independent research program at any level of inquiry, teach
in departmental undergraduate and graduate courses, and train graduate
students and postdoctoral scientists. The ideal candidate will complement
existing faculty research programs in motor control, neuromuscular
biomechanics, or integrative physiology. Excellent opportunities exist for
collaboration with scientists within the department and the Colleges of
Medicine and Engineering. This position includes significant start-up funds
in addition to laboratory renovation.
