Zimmer, Inc., is a worldwide leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of orthopaedic products. Zimmer is
headquartered in Warsaw, Indiana, and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: ZMH). Zimmer is seeking a highly
motivated and talented individual to fill the following opening:

Principal Engineer Specialist in Product and Process Simulation

Zimmer is seeking an engineer with experience in finite element analysis and other simulation techniques to work in our
research laboratories. This is a full-time position, which primarily involves structural analysis of orthopaedic
implants in support of R&D projects.

The incumbent will be expected to work closely with engineers and scientists in R&D, manufacturing, etc. Strong written
and verbal communication skills are essential.

A Masters of Science degree from an accredited curriculum in mechanical engineering, engineering mechanics or a related
field is required, a Ph.D. in one of these fields is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong
plus. Preferred candidates will also have experience in the use of one or more of the following software packages:
ABAQUS (standard and/or explicit), ANSYS, and PATRAN. Experience in nonlinear analysis and knowledge of orthopaedic
biomechanics are also desired.
