Dear Colleagues,

In order to keep the upcoming Second Berlin Symposium on the "Significance
of Musculo-skeletal Soft Tissue on Pre-Operative

Planning, Surgery and Healing" small enough to ensure constructive
discussion and maximum involvement from the delegates,

places at the event were limited.

Unfortunately a number of delegates have been forced to drop out, meaning
that some places have again become available. I would like

to therefore invite a few more delegates to participate with us in an event
that aims to bring together the current state of knowledge

on the importance and influence of musculo-skeletal soft tissues on healing
and biology.

The goal of the Symposium:

To initiate a discussion between researchers from the fields of
physiology/biology and biomechanics with clinicians. To complement
the current understanding of the significance of the surrounding
soft tissues as the predominant "extra-osseous" blood supply, as
coverage of bone and as actuators in restoring biomechanical
