Title: Biomechanics Lecturer/Senior Lecturer
Location: University of Otago, School of Physical Education, Dunedin, New Zealand

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a confirmation path
lectureship (similar to the tenure-track position at Assistant Professor level in North
American universities) in Biomechanics with research and teaching strengths in the
areas of sport, locomotion, rehabilitation, injury prevention, ergonomics, and health
and fitness.

The primary responsibilities of the position include developing an independent
research programme; supervising graduate and honours students; and teaching in
undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biomechanics.

Applicants should have a doctorate in Biomechanics or closely related discipline
and be able to demonstrate academic and professional commitment through
excellence in academic scholarship, research and teaching as well as the ability to
attract external research funding.
