Refering to de Lange's paper : Effects on Data Smoothing on the
Reconstruction of Helical Axis in Human Joint Kinematics, I'm using the
gcvspl algorithm to smooth the data. I apply it to the landmarks
position and then compute the instantaneous helicoidal axes (IHA). If
the IHAs from non-smoothed landmarks look like the fig.5(1) of the
paper, the IHAs from smoothed landmarks are quite the same and not at
all like the fig.5(3).
Does anyone have an idea?
