Dear professionals,

I would like to ask for your help in fulfilling my obligations towards an
undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo. I am asking for
participants for a study entitled, "Evaluating the effect of educational and
professional background on the approach to a job analysis". The URL for the
study is "http://ahsmail.uwaterloo.ca/~tfillier/homepage.html". The goal of the
study is not to identify which groups get the "correct" solution; the
researchers merely wish to examine how people go about conducting a job
analysis. Our hypothesis, generally stated, is that people will use varying
methods depending on the nature of their background.

During this study, you will be asked to complete a background information
questionnaire, as well as to conduct a job analysis based on a short video of a
person at work. The time committment is approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
For more information, please read the "Participant Recruitment Letter", which
can be accessed via the homepage.

This study has received full ethics clearance from the University of Waterloo's
Office of Research Ethics.

If you have any questions, please email me at tfillier@uwaterloo.ca.

Thanking you in advance,

Tim Fillier
