Dear all,

I am performing gait analysis with Parkinson's disease patients to evaluate
the effect of an auditory rhythm (at different frequencies) on gait
characteristics.
Patients are asked to synchronize their initial foot contact with the
metronome beat.

To evaluate the effect, kinematics and kinetics will be studied.

I was wondering though which measurement could give me some information on
the patients walking efficiency.
If they make f.i. bigger steps, or they also walking more efficiently?

Can anyone give me some advice on this matter?

I thought the method Kerrigan et al proposed are quite interesting.
