Dear Subscribers
We are calculating velocity and position of the body centre of mass from FP data by double integration and from kinematic data using different anthropometric models. The calculation of COMx (mediolateral) is consistent amongst the anthropometric models. The excursion of the COM in this direction calculated from the FP data is about a third of the magnitude of the kinematic models and of the sacral marker. A calibration check confirms that the Forces in the x-direction are correct. Has anybody had a similar experience or are we being a bit stupid (rhetorical)?
