After a long waiting I found the time to post on the BEL Repository
the Muscle Standardised Femur, a model announced in a letter to the
Editor of the Journal of Biomechanics. The procedure used to create
the model was described in detail in a paper recently published.

This model is a version of the Standardised Femur, on which the areas
of insertion of the principal muscle groups were defined as separate
surface patches. This makes much easier to create finite element
models in which the muscle insertion is accurately modelled. the
first study that used this models will be soon published on IMechE
