PhD STUDENT - RESEARCH ASSISTANT WANTED

PhD PROGRAM: University of Delaware, Biomechanics and Movement Science,
Interdisciplinary Master's and Ph.D. Program (for details see:

THE PROJECT: Coordination of grip forces with external load
The aim of the project is to study the coupling of hand grip, as well as
of the individual finger forces with the external load acting on objects
held in one or two hands. The studied populations include both healthy
volunteers and neurological patients.

SUPPORT: Both free tuition and research assistantship are provided.

REQUIREMENTS: MSc in the field of biomechanics/mechanical
engineering/motor control or in a comparable field.

DEADLINE: The need to fill the position by September 1, 2003 is
anticipated.
