West Virginia University, School of Medicine, Division of Physical Therapy is seeking applications for a twelve-month tenure-track assistant or associate professor faculty position. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in neuroscience and the management of patients with neurological injury, as well as developed research interests.

The program currently offers an entry-level Masters degree, however, the program is approved to offer the entry level DPT beginning Fall 2005. The WVU physical therapy program has been offering high quality professional education for the physical therapist for over 30 years. Opportunities for collaboration are available with a number of clinical and basic neurosciences programs on the WVU Health Sciences Campus, including new clinical programs in neurology & neurosurgery as well as the Blanchette Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute for the study of cognition and memory.

Qualifications: Post-professional doctoral degree preferred with entry or advanced degree in physical therapy; teaching experience required, preferably in neuroscience or adult neurorehabilitation; research interests with funding potential; and eligible for licensure in West Virginia.
