I am currently doing a project involving gait analysis, in which I need to
locate the hip joint center from external markers. I know of those methods
using percentages of the inter-ASIS distance (Tylkowski, Andriacchi, Bell),
however, the vast majority of my subjects are very overweight, and finding
the ASIS is not easy. I am looking for any similar methods that use the
PSIS, as these are a lot easier to find on this particular patient
group. Alternatively, does anyone have a data set that can relate the
inter ASIS distance to that of the inter PSIS distance?

Thanks in advance for your help.
