Hello everyone,

This is Call for Papers for workshop
"Computational Modeling and Simulation on Biomechanical Engineering"
in International Conference on Computational Science 2004 (ICCS 2004)
to be held in Krakow, Poland, June 6-9, 2004.

Ever since the first International Conference on Computational Science
in 2001 in San Francisco (USA), ICCS has attracted increasingly more
researchers
involved in the challenging research field of Computational Science.
Over the last 3 years a total of more than 1500 people attended the
conference series.
With a typical acceptance ratio of 40% after peer review of the submitted
papers,
a total of over 1000 high quality papers have been published in proceedings
(LNCS)
by Springer Verlag. These proceeding series have become a major intellectual
resource
for computational science researchers pushing the edge of the field.

This workshop will focus on the advances in computer based technologies
applied in this multidisciplinary subject. The appropriate topics are as
follows
(but are not limited to):

Computational Modeling and simulation of the musculoskeletal system
Biomechanical Analysis of human movement
Planning and execution of computer-aided orthopedic surgery

Important dates are as follows:

Papers submission - January 10, 2004
Notification of acceptance - February 1, 2004
Camera-ready papers - February 15, 2004
