Dear Colleagues

Final arrangements for the Madrid Symposium are now being made. We
are pleased to inform you that we have 25 Plenary speakers and this
together with 200 other presentations will make this the most
exciting meeting arranged in computational biomechanics to date.
Full details of the meeting can be found on the website
- if you still wish to present at the
meeting we have some spaces in the poster presentations and also
exhibition space. Also please note the prizes made available by
sponsoring companies - on website.

6th INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON COMPUTER
METHODS IN BIOMECHANICS AND BIOMEDICAL
ENGINEERING

NEW BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. TAYLOR AND FRANCIS PRIZE
A cash prize of 700Euro will be presented to author/s of paper, which
shows innovation/novelty in research computational mechanics

2. WELSH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY/MEDITECH PRIZE
A cash prize of 700Euro will be awarded for the best student
presentation. This prize is offered by the WDA/Meditech network


3. ESI GROUP PRIZE
A cash prize of 700Euro will be awarded to the best poster
presentation. This prize is offered by the ESI Group: Software and
Engineering services.

All oral and posters presentation will be considered for these
prizes.
