Hi All - this didnt appear to get posted first time - second time lucky

I'm using an asymmetry index (ASI) to assess gait symmetry. I have chosen this method due to the relatively small subject numbers. A cut-off point of 10% appears to be the norm for assessing symmetry in GRF.Anything above 10% is therefore classed as asymmetrical.

Firstly is this 10% level purely arbitrary and secondly has the ASI been used for moments and powers, and if so what was the cut-off point.

many thansk for your help - will post responses
