GAITLAB PHYSICAL THERAPIST - CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA)

No motion analysis experience necessary.

Our Motion Analysis Laboratory is searching for a FULL-TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST to join our laboratory team. Most of our patients have cerebral palsy and return for annual assessments. The duties include clinical measurements of joint range of motion, spasticity assessments (Ashworth, Bubinski, etc.), functional measures (Gross Motor Function Measurement), and the placement of electrodes and markers about lower limb landmarks. Additional duties include evaluation of ankle-foot orthotics and interfacing with our in-house P&O department. A report is generated for each patient.

Requirements: current PT Licensure, or be eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.

Welcomed attributes (but not required): experience with motion analysis and an interest in contributing to clinical research projects.
