We are currently recruiting for a new position for a Project Engineer to work in the area of medical catheter tipping. Individual should have strong project management skills and must be able to lead the efforts of engineering technicians and toolmakers. Catheter tipping experience is highly desirable, however candidates with strong backgrounds in plastics and plastics processes including injection molding, extrusion, heat forming will be considered. Machine and tooling design experience is a plus. Individual must be willing to travel to Mexico and Europe to provide support for international manufacturing operations, possibly 50% travel.

Candidates should possess a 4 year degree in engineering, and currently reside in the U.S. Growing company has great benefits, including an excellent relocation package, and salary to $90K.

This person will lead the efforts for Arrow's corporate catheter tipping process development group. This person will provide support for existing tipping processes and will address the tipping needs of product development in all international facilities.

Principle Responsibilities:

a.. Coordinate activities of all resources reporting to the Tipping Development team leader
b.. Maintain a project list of all tipping development activities for international facilities
c.. Identify and leverage technology by outside vendors by applying their innovative techniques on new and/or urgent projects
d.. Assess existing technologies in use at Arrow International
e.. Investigate new technology for RF heating of tipping tools
f.. Travel to international facilities to help with troubleshooting, technology assessment, and machine start-ups
g.. Specify and maintain a system for tooling and machinery maintenance
h.. Develop tipping tool design standards
i.. Work with engineering technicians to prototype and build innovative new machine components and tooling
